Honey joy moments
It’s only about 5 weeks since my books arrived at my front door from Logan Queensland. Benny arrived and he has woven his magic. I have had many honey joy moments, whilst connecting with people and sharing Benny. People within my communities have been so generous, supporting me and sharing feedback.
My choir conductor has been so so supportive. He sent me a photo of his kids after they had just heard my story. He said they loved it.
My friend Janine took 6 books to Vietnam and one of her relatives is learning English. My friend said that my Benny would be her first English story book.
Another friend Jenny bought and read my book. Then she passed it over to her taxi driver who has little people in his life.
Another honey joy moments, a childcare worker is teaching bees because it was world bee day this month. She is going to read it to her children in her care.
There is a kindergarten who likes my book and is organising a reading.
I keep asking members of my communities to give me feedback, on how their nieces, nephews and grandchildren enjoy or responded to Benny. I wrote it for children.
My friend from Canada bought two books for her niece and nephew.
I am enjoying the journey. What are your honey joy moments?
